Stockholm New Music
Stockholm New Music 2008 will take place February 16 - 23. The theme
is Tradition in Transition and there will be eight days filled with
concerts, installations, sonic art and seminars.

Musikhögskolans Symfoniorkester Dirigent: Cecilia Rydinger
Alin. Solist: Witold Wardziukiewicz, piano. På programmet
bl a Rachmaninovs Pianokonsert nr 2 i c-moll, Sibelius 5:e symfoni
samt ett uruppförande av Lars Carlsson - "Hinna
(MonoMono Remix)" - där även Fredrik Nyberg
medverkar med dikt och läsning. Orkestern består av
musikerutbildningens orkesterinstrumentstudenter och utökas
ibland med stråkar ur instrumental- och ensemblelärarutbildningen.
Säsongens sista konsert med symfoniorkestern innehåller
alltid uruppförande av ett verk av en ung komponist. Det
är en glädje att åter kunna hälsa den framstående
dirigenten Cecilia Rydinger Alin välkommen till oss.

Here is my first harmonograph and one of it's early drawings.
I will develop a better one soon and incorporate these drawings
in my music...
I have also developed a Max patch that simulates a more advanced
harmonograph, and also transcribe the information to MIDI in realtime. |

I am working with my new piece for viola and Max/MSP.
This piece is written for Chia-Ying Hsu, and were comissioned
by her and the university of Illinois. The piece will be performed
during the MAVerick
festival in USA in july 2003. |

on the 3rd of mars 2003.
